CRACK IN THE WORLD (OLIVE FILMS)

it is about damn time this film came out in some format. It has never been availble before in any format and Olive has done an excellent job with it.
A staple on TV during the 70's and 80's, it disappeared from sight and hasn't been seen much during the last 20 years.
Dana Andrews plays a scientist who wants to bring Magma from inside the earth to the surface to create an inexpensive form of energy. After he sends a missile into the earth's crust he acidentally creats a crack which spreads along a fault line and threatens to break the earth in two.
He and his assistant come up with the idea of dropping an atomic bomd inside a volcano to counteract the moving crack and this only makes matters worse. Kieron Moore and the lovely Janette Scott also star in this finely made action sci-fi film that should top any movie lovers list of things to see.
The effects are top notch and the acting is very good, but what can you expect from a cast like this.
Highly Recommended!!
