THE FREAKMAKER (SUBVERSIVE)

Donald Pleasence stars as a mad doctor who is trying to cross humans with plants in the bizarre belief that that is the only mankind will survive. This makes for a few very grotesque monsters and some of them are sold to a freakshow run by a man named Lynch, a deformed ugly man who wants the doctor to make him normal.
The Venus flytrap man is a wonder to behold as he kills his victims and leaves them in a very bad way. I love this film, and the cast of some real life freaks makes it all that more entertaining.
The supporting cast includes Tom Baker as Lynch, Brad Harris, Michael Dunn, Jill Haworth and the always sexy Julie Ege. The ending is a shocker. This is a great 70's film that must be seen to be appreciated. Highly recommended!!
