QUATERMASS AND THE PIT 1968 (ANCHOR BAY)

Excellent and thrilling sci-fi from Hammer studios starring Andrew Keir as Prof. Benard Quatermass who gets involved in the discovery of a mysterious spaceship and it's long dead inhabitants after they are unearthed in a subway digging.
This film works on every single level and the supporting players such as Julian Glover, James Donald and the always lovely Barbara Shelley are all top notch.
The insect creatures are disgusting and the shocks are still as good as ever in this film. Very Highly Recommended!!
