SAVAGE JOURNEY 1983 (MILL CREEK)

Pretty good western about Joseph Smith and the Mormon Church and their trials and tribulations moving to Utah and being accepted. This is a sometimes brutal film loaded with stock footage, but it really doesn't hurt he film.
Richard Moll stars as Joseph Smith and Maurice Grandmaison is Brigham Young. Both do good jobs in their respective roles.
Even if you do not care for religion, this film is a well done western that does grab your attention and hold it. Marvin Miller narrates and has a small role as a government official.
