BLOOD OF THE ZOMBIE 1961 (SHRIEK SHOW)

This is also known as The Dead One and was directed by Barry Mahon in Lousiana. It had great 1960's locations and real jazz music, and a cool looking zombie that is brought to life by a maniacal woman to kill people she believes are invading her old plantation.
Monica Davis stars as Monica the insane female who raises the zombie, and she does a very good job with her role. The color is rich and just has that retro look that I remember so well.
This is an ultra rare film finally brought to light again by Shreik Show, and I for one am very happy for that.
Recommended for horror fans who want something a little different.
