DUNGEON OF HARROW 1962 (MILL CREEK)

This is a very bizarre film from Pat Boyette, a comic book artist who tried his hand at directing this little film shot in Texas.
The story concerns two men who survive a shipwreck and land of what appears to be a deserted island, only to find it inhabited by a sadist named Count DeSade. The Count lives with his servant Mantis, a Nubian slave, a lovely young woman whose tongue was cut out by pirates and a woman who was hie wife's nurse.
The sets are bizarre and the colors garish and unique and the entire production looks odd, but that is it's charm.
This is really a one of a kind film with a neat twist at the end about lepers and such. Highly recommended for people who like low budget regional films. I wish Boyette had made more movies, because I really like this one.
