DUEL AT SILVER CREEK (1952) UNIVERSAL

This is a very well made western with Audie Murphey as a young man who forms an uneasy alliance with a sheriff to bring down a band of claim jumpers. Gerald Mohr is the leader of the jumpers and he is aided by his partner played by Faith Domergue, whi is actually one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen and, in this film, one of the most cold blooded ever.
Susan Cabot is Murphey's love interest and Stephen McNally is the sheriff. The rest of the cast is topped with Lee Marvin, Walter Sande and Eugene Iglesias as the very evil Johnny Sombrero. This movie is well paced and never lets you lose your attention. Highly recommended for movie fans and particularly western fans.
