NO BLADE OF GRASS 1970 (WARNER ARCHIVE)

Grim and bold film directed by Cornel Wilde about a plague that wipes out all the grain and grass and the world is slowly starving to death as a small band of people fight for survival in a now very brutal and ugly world.
Nigel Davenport stars as a man who takes his wife (Jean Wallace),daughter and a few others on a trek to his brothers home in the rural part of England to escape the plague and the violence.
There are a lot of very disturbing images in this film, and that is what makes it pack such a wallop. Rarely seen since it's initial run in 1970. Audiences were not ready for this ahead of it's time film, but now thanks to Warner Archive you can see it in it's uncut glory. I Highly recommend this for any fan of sci-fi and action.
