H.G. WELLS SEVEN NOVELS

This is only my second little book review, and I finished this book late last month. There are, of course, seven classic novels by HG Wells in a very nice leather bound edition.
I hadn't read any of these in a long time and it was a treat to sit down and indulge in them again.
The stories are Time Machine, Island of Dr. Moreau, War Of The Worlds, Food of the Gods, In The Days of the Comet, The Invisible Man and First Men In The Moon.
These stories are all great and In The Days of the Comet is by far the strangest. We are all familiar with the movies, but reading the stories puts the movies to shame, except perhaps Time Machine. Don't get me wrong, I like most adaptations of Wells' stories into movies, but Wells knew how to tell a very compelling story and these are all collected into one great set. I recommend this book for a few good nights reading.
