STRANGE WOMAN 1946 (MILL CREEK)

The gorgeous Hedy Lamarr stars as a woman who attempts to gain wealth and power thru marriage at whatever cost to others. She plays the role perfectly and does destroy the lives a quite a few men.
Lamarr has always been a favorite of mine, and her beauty is still unsurpassed in cinema. No other woman could have played this role better than her. The men she destroys include Louis Hayward, Gene Lockhart and George Sanders, to name a few.
The rest of the cast includes Alan Napier, Hillary Brooke and Rhys Williams. The director for this gem was Edgar Ulmer, who does his usual brilliant job of bringing stories to the screen. This is a highly recommended film for mystery fans and Lamarr fans, and I know you are out there.
