THEM 1954 (WARNER)

One of the best movies of it's kind ever made. Giant mutated ants invade the New Mexico desert and then make way to Los Angeles.
James Arness, James Whitmore and the lovely Joan Weldon are three people trying to destroy the invaders before they destroy the world.
All movie makers today could look at this and learn how to tell a tight story with a limited budget and good acting.
My praises for this movie could run for pages and pages. There is simply nothing bad. It is a prime example of 50's giant monster movies and the supporting cast is wonderful. Edmund Gwenn is a scientist who is helping to stop the ants, Onslow Stevens and Sean McClory are the military men involved Fess Parker has a small role as a pilot who crashed his plane after an encounter with the ants and Leonard Nimoy makes his film debut.
If you haven't seen it you should. It is far better than ANY of the garbage churned out today.
