WALKING TALL 1973 (SHOUT FACTORY)

Joe Don Baker stars as Buford Pusser a small town sheriff that single handily cleaned up the corruption in the town at a great personal cost to him and his family.
Simply put, this is a great film no if's and's or buts. Baker does an exceptional job as Pusser and the action never lets up.
The supporting cast is perfect and it includes Noah Beery Jr., Leif Garrett, Dawn Lyn, Elizabeth Hartman, Lauren Tuttle, Arch Johnson and gorgeous Lynn Borden.
The remakes suck so I suggest you watch the original and get the real flavor of the story. Based on true incidents, Director Phil Karlson infuses some Hollywood fiction into the proceedings, but it still makes for damn good movie viewing.
