WOMAN IN THE SHADOWS (1934) MILL CREEK

In the 30's and 40's there was no more beautiful a woman than Fay Wray who graced the screen in many, many films. In this particular film she is the gorgeous woman who falls in love with a man who has just been released from prison and is trying to stay out of trouble.
Ralph Bellamy is the young man who falls for Wray and Melvyn Douglas is the man who tries to put him back in jail again. This has some interesting pre code material such as Wray's dress slipping down and her legs on display a lot, which isn't a bad thing at all.
This is a very good little potboiler from the mid 30's and it should hold the attention of any mystery/drama fan. The print quality is very good and I can recommend this film.
