ATTACK OF THE CRAB MONSTERS 1957 (SHOUT FACTORY)

The quintessential Roger Corman 50's sci-fi film. A small group of scientists and military men arrive on a small island to find out what happed to the first group that simply disappeared.
They soon find themselves trapped on an ever shrinking island with giant man-eating crab monsters who are also able to absorb the intellect of everyone they eat.
This is how one makes a good film. Corman manages to have something going on almost every minute of the film's brief 62 minute running time. The plot simply never slows down.
The cast includes such Corman regulars as Mel Wells, Beech Dickerson, Richard Cutting, Pamela Duncan and Richard Garland as well as Russell Johnson.
Part of Shout Factory's triple feature of Corman fun. The others are Not of This Earth and War Of The Satellites and both will be reviewed here soon. I originally wrote a review for this film about 18 months ago and I figured it was time to do it again.
This is a classic not to be missed.
