Vincent Price stars as Charles Dexter Ward, a man who inherits a castle in a strange New England town. He and his wife played by the incredibly sexy Debra Paget are treated like lepers in the town which is populated by mutants.
Ward soon finds his body taken over by a warlock named Joseph Curwen who is trying to raise his dead lover and kill the desendents of the people who had him burned alive a few hundred years earlier.
Excellent film directed by Roger Corman and a cast rounded out by Lon Chaney, Jr., Elishe Cook, Jr., Frank Maxwell, John Dierkes, Cathis Merchant, Barboura Morris and Bruno Ve Sota.
Very highly recommended!!
