THE WEREWOLF 1956 (SONY)

A man wonders into a small town in California with no memory of who he is or where he came from. Soon he is accosted by a man and he changes into a vicious werewolf and kills him.
So starts this incredible sci-fi about a man who is experimented on by two doctors and turned into a werewolf. This werewolf needs no full moon to change, only anger or fear.
Very well done and with a very human quality to it. Steve Ritch is Duncan Marsh, a man transformed into one of the screens most violent werewolves, Don Megowan is the sheriff, and the always lovely Joyce Holden is Amy Standish, the woman who loves the Sheriff and whose father is the town doctor. The great Fred F. Sears directed.
Great scenery of Big Bear Lake in California only enhance this well made chiller that deserves another look by horror fans.
