31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN DAY 7: CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN 1957 (WARNER)

In May of 1957 Hammer released this in the USA and it became a smash hit that started Hammer on it's way to becoming one of the most successful film companies in the world.

Peter Cushing is Baron Frankenstein, who, with the help of a friend, creates a monster played by Christopher Lee. The creation is hideous and nothing but a killing machine, yet the Baron thinks he can control it.

Robert Urquhart is Paul Krempe, the friend who helps the Baron until he sees the error of his ways and the always sexy Hazel Court is Elizabeth whose ample charms just cannot seem to win over the Baron.

Great color phtotgraphy, especially the deep red blood and a top notch cast make this a winner all the way. If you haven't seen it, check it out. It makes excellent viewing on these cold autumn nights, especially Halloween.
