31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN DAY 8: DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE 1968 (WARNER)

One of the first Hammer films I ever saw, and what a horror film it is!! Christopher Lee returns as Dracula seeking revenge on the Monsignor who performed an exorcism on his castle.

Pure Hammer gothic permeates the entire film as Lee tries to make the Monsignor's sexy daughter his bride. The daughter is played by gorgeous Veronica Carlson, Rupert Davies is her father, Barry Andrews is the young man she loves and who stops at nothing to save her from Dracula.

The atmosphere is heavy with horror as it grows and grows and the people of the small village refuse to fight back and Dracula claims more and more victims. A perfect Halloween movie from Hammer and a damn good movie!! Recommended!!
