31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN DAY 9: THE MUMMY'S TOMB 1942 (UNIVERSAL)

This was the very first Mummy movie I ever saw and when it aired on KHQ in Spokane I was mesmerized.

Lon Chaney, Jr. stars as Kharis, the living mummy who, along with a young Egyptian named Mehemet Bey, travel to Maplewood, MA to kill off those who opened the tomb of princess Ananka.

Dick Foran and Wallace Ford reprise their roles from The Mummy's Hand and are soon killed off. Gorgeous Elyse Knox is the woman who brings an end to Bey as he falls in love with her against the Egyptian Gods' rules. All ends in a fire holocaust, but no fear, the mummy would return again. Highly Recommended for Halloween.
