RIP ALEX KARRAS 1935-2012

One of the greatest football players ever to play the game has passed away at the age of 77.

Karras was one of the Detroit Lions "Fearsome Foursome" for the team and played for 12 years. He turned his interests to acting and has a great part in Mel Brooks' "Blazing Saddles" as well as 4 years on the ABC show "Webster"

Karras passed away from kidney failure as well as complications from cancer and dementia. A sad ending to a very well lived life. RIP big guy, and thanks.
