ALPHA INCIDENT 1977 (MILL CREEK)

Bill Rebane directed this 1977 sci-fi film which actually isn't too bad.

Ralph Meeker stars in this tale about microorganisms from Mars being transported by train to a place in Colorado that are let loose by a nosy employee of the railroad.

The Army quarantines a small station in Wisconsin once they find out everyone could be infected. The small group includes George "Buck" Flowers as the man who let the organisms loose, Stafford Morgan as the Government agent, John Goff and Carol Newell as other employees and Meeker is the man in charge of the small station that all are trapped at.

Tension builds between everyone and the death of Meeker is gruesome and not easily forgotten. The ending will remind you of Night Of The Living Dead and the Crazies. Not a huge classic film, but not a bad one either, and one that sci-fi fans might want to check out.
