HOUSE OF DARK SHADOWS 1970 (WARNERS)

This movie, is of course, based on the popular TV show from the 60's and 70's. I used to hurry home to watch this when I was in school.

Jonathan Frid is Barnabus Collins, a vampire who returns to his family home and soon begin to spread terror and death in his wake.

This is an excellent example of how to make a horror film. Director Dan Curtis gets the most out of his cast which also includes many regulars from the show including Grayson Hall as Julia, the luscious Kathryn Lee Scott as Maggie Evans, Roger Davis, lovely Nancy Barrett, John Karlen as Willie and many more.

The music by Robert Cobert really manages to set the tone for the film, and if you are a horror fan you won't want to miss this one. Highly Recommended!!
