RETURN OF COUNT YORGA 1971 (MGM)

This top notch sequel finds Yorga back at it again with no explanation of how he survived the end of the first film, which had a cool twist to it.

Robert Quarry is back as Yorga and this movie starts quickly. Within the first 10 minutes or so vampire women emerge from their graves and go after a child who happens to run into Yorga while trying to get away.

Roger Perry is back, but as a different character and there is lovely Mariette Hartley as the Counts intended bride. Perry fights Yorga with the help of policemen played by Rudy DeLuca and Craig Nelson.

The vampire women are scary looking as in the first film, and this also has a neat twist at the end which is much different than the first film's twist ending. Good stuff here for horror fans and a highly recommended film.
