WAXWORK 1988 (LIONSGATE)

A very odd but enjoyable little movie.

Zach Galligan and several other young people including sexy as hell Deborah Foreman and gorgeous Michelle Johnson are invited by a mysterious man, played by David Warner to visit a wax museum he is opening.

It seems that if you enter past the red line at each exhibit, you actually live out what that exhibit is. One man encounters ferocious werewolves and there are others like vampires and mad killers.

What I found most interesting was Deborah Foreman's virginal character is strongly attracted to the Marquis DeSade and is drawn into that world by the wax figure. Director Anthony Hickox does a very good job with this movie and it is full of monsters and very eccentric character.

Patrick Mcnee as a wheelchair bound monster hunter is hilarious and serious at the same time as only Macnee could do. Recommended horror film that will both scare and delight horror fans.
