MASQUE OF THE RED DEATH 1964 (TGG GROUP)

A unique Vincent Price horror film.

Charles Beaumont took a poem by Edgar Allen Poe and wrote an excellent story and Roger Corman directed this gem with Vincent Price at the lead helm as Prince Prospero a very evil man who terrorizes the peasants and protects his friend from the "Red Death" stalking the land.

Colorful and well made thriller sees Price in all his glory and we also have the always sexy Hazel Court as a woman who is wanting to marry Satan. Jane Asher is the Christian woman Prospero wants to corrupt and uses her father and lover as pawns.

Corman manages to get some lovely color photography and top notch performances from a wonderful cast that also includes Nigel Green, Patrick McGee and Skip Martin. Highly Recommended!!
