24 HOURS TO KILL 1965 (WARNER ARCHIVE)

Interesting film!

Mickey Rooney stars as a man who has stolen a very large sum of money from a gold cartel. He is part of a flight crew that is forced to land in Beirut and then the chase is on.

Lex Barker is Rooney's friend but has a hard time believing the always lying Rooney. Harry Alan Towers produced this film and Peter Welbeck wrote it. Gorgeous Maria Rhom, the wife of Towers has a good role as the secretary to Walter Slezak, the mob boos who wants Rooney dead.

Good action and lovely scenery help this film move along at a brisk pace. Recommended for fans of action adventure.
