HOUSE THAT DRIPPED BLOOD 1971 (HENS TOOTH)

First rate British thriller.

One of the best anthology films ever made, this centers aroun an old house with four tales of terror and a wrap around story that ain't too bad either.

In the first tale Denholm Elliot is a writer who soon discovers that his murderous creation in his new story is coming to get him. It is entitled "Method For Murder" and also stars Joanna Dunham as Elliot's wife.

The second tale is entitled "Waxworks" and stars Peter Cushing and Joss Ackland as two men drawn to a wax museum and the figure of a beautiful woman they both knew.

The third tale is my second favorite and it's entitled "Sweets To The Sweet" and stars Christopher Lee as a man who is terrified of his own child, played by the charming Chloe Franks. Why is he so frightened of her? Watch and find out.

The final tale is my favorite and it stars Jon Pertwee as a tempermental actor who buys a vampire cloak for his newest film and finds it has a peculiar effect on him. It is entitled "The Cloak" and also stars Ingrid Pitt as Carla and let me tell you...NOBODY ever wore a tight black dress like Ingrid did. WOW is all I can say.

The wrap around story is a police inspector who is investigating the disappearence of the Pertwee character and what he discovers proves to be his final act. This is a great film with good stories and it NEVER slows down. I cannot recommend this film enough.
