SON OF KONG 1933 (WARNER)

A pretty damn good sequel.

To escape all the trouble Kong has caused in New York and the hundreds of lawsuits against him, Carl Denham leaves along with Capt. Englehorn and several others and heads for peace and quiet only to land on Kong's Island again and find a smaller Son of Kong who helps Denham and a young lady find a treasure while fighting various monsters.

This is not quite the classic the original is, but it is fun and entertaining in it's own way and the animation effects are just as good as in the first film.

Robert Armstrong reprises his role as Denham as does Frank Reicher as Englehorn. Helen Mack is the new leading lady and she handles her role well as the girl Denham will eventually marry. Good fun.
