FLYING SERPENT 1946 (IMAGE)

A rather obscure film.

George Zucco stars in this obscure film as a professor who has captured the ancient bird known as Quetzalcoatl and keeps it captive until he gives his enemies one of it's feathers, then he send the monster out to get the feather and the bird drains the victims of their blood.

It's an interesting plot for such a short 58 minute movie, but Zucco makes the best of his evil role, as usual and Hope Kramer is his unsuspecting daughter. The monster is very interesting looking and the flying scenes are handled very well for a production like this.

Not the easiest movie to find on DVD, but if you can find it I recommend you give it a try. I was first introduced to this movie on a Saturday afternoon on the USA network on the Commander USA show back in the 80's. Ahhhh the memories.
