13 GHOSTS 1960 (COLUMBIA)

Another enjoyable William Castle thriller.

Donald Woods, Rosemary De Camp, Jo Morrow and Charles Herbert are a family that inherit a haunted house from Woods' eccentric uncle.

They soon find the house is haunted by 12 ghosts and that there will be a 13th added soon, but who will it be? Margaret Hamilton is the spooky housekeeper and Martin Milner is the young attorney who isn't what he appears.

This is a fun film, not scary at all, but very enjoyable. The cast is outstanding and Castle does a great job in bringing this to the screen. Illusion-O is the gimmick here where you can put on the "ghost viewer" and actually see the ghosts on the screen. You can see them anyway, but it brings in the image better and lets you see them in color.

I like this film a lot. It's fun as a film should be. The cast is rounded out by John Van Dreelan. Recommended!!
