BEAST OF BLOOD 1971 (ALPHA)

The third and final entry in the Blood Island trilogy.

This picks up minutes after the previous film "Mad Doctor of Blood Island" ended and we see the green blooded monster loose on the yacht sailing away from the island. John Ashley is again Bill Foster and he is rescued after the creature destroys the ship and gets away.

One year later he returns to Blood Island only to find that the natives are again living in terror. It is soon discovered that Dr. Lorca, thought dead, is actually alive and he now has the monster in a hidden cave laboratory. He has separated the head from the body, but both still live thanks to a serum he has created.

Celeste Yarnall is gorgeous as Myra Russell, a reporter who wants to get the scoop on what is happening. Eddie Garcia is excellent as the demented Dr. Lorca and it is quite a treat to see him talking to a dismembered head. Liza Belmonte is Laida, a native woman who loves Foster, but Foster wants Russell.

There are plenty of gore effects once again and a very interesting story with a very cool monster that eventually breaks loose from the lab and walks around headless while smashing things. This has to be seen to be really appreciated. All of the women in all three of these films are simply stunning. Something can really be said about actresses from the Philippines. If you get a chance, see these films..you wont be sorry.
