CREEPSHOW 2 1987 (ANCHOR BAY)

Three more tales of horror from Stephen King.

It took five years for this to hit the screen after the huge success of "Creepshow". Michael Gornick directs this time instead of George Romero.

The three stories are "Old Chief Woodenhead" about a wooden Indian in front of a store that seeks revenge on three punks who killed the elderly owner and his wife and stole money, food and Indian jewels. Dorothy Malone and George Kennedy star.

The second story is "The Raft" and it is a bizarre one about four teens who head to a secluded lake, swim to a wooden raft in the middle of it and then are attacked by a huge blob-like monster who consumes them one by one. This is a very well done story and it has some unforgettable scenes.

The third and final tale is "The Hitchhiker" and it stars Lois Chiles as a wealthy woman who accidentally kills a hitchhiker while driving. She speeds away from the scene and finds that the hitchhiker will not die. This is easily the most terrifying story of the three.

All in all not a bad movie, but you can tell it does not have the punch of the first one. It was a money maker and well worth your time to watch this again if you haven't seen it already.

Thanks For The Ride Lady.
