BEACH GIRLS AND THE MONSTER 1965 (SINISTER CINEMA)

One of my favorite films for some reason.

The first time I saw this film was in the mid 70's on KSTW TV from Seattle. I was mesmerized by this bizarre film and the action unfolding on the screen.

Young people on the beach are being killed by a sea monster. It turns out that the monster is actually actor Jon Hall in a costume and he is killing the teens because he hates them.

The plot is fairly simple, but how it is done is a Z movie lovers delight. The monster costume is pretty cool, Sue Casey is sexy as hell as the cheating wife of Hall's character, Otto and Elaine DuPont is perfect as Jane, the empty headed girlfriend of handsome leading man Arnold Lessing, who plays Otto's son Richard.

The film is one of a kind and was directed by leading man Jon Hall. If you haven't seen this film yet, maybe you should. It is a viewing experience that you will never forget.
