PEOPLE THAT TIME FORGOT 1977 (MGM)

Sequel to "Land That Time Forgot" and not a bad film at all.

Patrick Wayne stars in this very well made sequel. he plays Ben McBride a very close friend of Bo Taylor whom he believes to still be alive on the island. He has put together an expedition to find out. Taylor has been on the island for several years and now McBride wants to get him off of it.

Also on the trip are a photographer played by Sarah Douglas and a professor played by Thorley Walters plus their pilot Hogan played by a very funny Shame Rimmer.

They take off in a bi-plane from a ship and fly onto the island and discover it is full of prehistoric monsters and cavemen who all seem bent of their destruction. They happen upon a sexy cavewoman named Ajor, played by the unforgettable Dana Gillespie and eventually find Bo is a captive of a tribe of people who are seeking to take over the entire island.

They plan their escape and make a daring getaway from the savages as well as the island itself which also seems to be alive. For those of us fortunate enough to grow up in a time when CGI didn't exist and we all weren't a bunch of spoiled brats, this film and others like to were the bomb. I have the pleasure of running this movie at a local theater twice a night for five days back in 1977, and it made my job all the more fun.

This is entertainment as it should be and I cannot recommend it enough.
