HORROR OF DRACULA 1958 (WARNER)

This is the film that put a small company called Hammer on the map.

I never get tired of this film! Christopher Lee plays Dracula for the first time and Peter Cushing is Van Helsing.

Dracula makes Jonathan Harker a vampire an then heads to England to victimize his fiancee, spreading terror where ever he goes.

Lee imbues the role with a fierce intensity that really comes across on the screen. Michael Gough is Arthur, a man who refuses to believe in vampires until he is given a first hand look at them by Van Helsing.

The acting is all top notch and the outstanding direction by Terence Fisher is second to none. One of the best horror films ever made, this come very highly recommended. Not to be missed.

The climatic battle between good and evil is flawless.
