HUMAN VAPOR 1960 (DVD-R)

Rare and offbeat Japanese sci-fi film.

Very good film about a timid librarian who is the subject of a scientific experiment gone wrong. This ordeal laves him with the ability to change into a vapor at will.

He uses his new ability to commit several robberies and to fund the career of a woman he loves who happens to be a very beautiful dancer.

The police are frantic to stop him, especially after he murders several people. The film is a wonderful mixture of sci-fi and crime, but it does have a very touching central core with the relationship between the librarian and his love. The two work very well together.

This is a very rare film and it should really be seen by more people. I am still awaiting a DVD release of this in the US. Highly recommended!!
