ABBA THE MOVIE 1977 (TCM VIEWING)

What a great movie, especially if you enjoy pop music, and it was made in 1977 which was the best year of my life for various reasons.

This movie centers on the Swedish pop group and their tour of Australia in 1977. The wrap around is about a country/western DJ trying to get an interview with the group while they do their tour.

Abba is and always will be one of my favorite groups. Their music is fun, clean and very catchy which I know in today's world of trash is called "camp" or some other derogatory term, but nobody wrote songs like Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus who also sang on many of the songs.

The two women of the group, Anni-Frid Lyndstad and Agnetha Faltskog are two of the most beautiful women to ever appear on stage, and their beautiful voices and harmonies have yet to be matched.

To date ABBA has sold of 380 million records making them one of the best selling musical acts in the world. This movie features some of their best songs including "Dancing Queen", "Name Of The Game", "Ring Ring" and many more. This is great stuff here, and a must for ANY ABBA fan.
