SCREAMING SKULL 1958 (GAIAM)

It has been a long time since I saw this one.

A man (John Hudson) brings his new wife (Peggy Webber) to his mansion, the same one where his wife died under mysterious circumstances.

Soon this young woman is being haunted by the spirit of her husband's dead wife. Or so everyone thinks that until the gardener, a mentally handicapped young man named Mickey reveals the truth.

Director Alex Nicol pulls double duty here as he also plays Mickey. The ending is a pretty goodd one as Hudson gets his comeuppance in a very horrifying way.

This film has been on hundreds of DVD labels over the years and I wish it would get a Blu-ray release. However, this film is very effective and is a very passable thriller that most horror fans should like.
