31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN DAY 7: LOS VAMPIROS DE COYOACAN 1973 (AGRASANCHEZ)

Very rare Mexican vampire film.

I found this very rare little film at my local Hastings store a few years ago. It is not dubbed and has no subtitles, but it really isn't that hard to follow the plot.

Two masked wrestlers, Mil Mascaras and Superzan investigate vampire murders and get a little more than they bargained for. German Robles is on hand as Dr. Wells, a man who helps the wrestlers crack the case.

One of the highlights of the film is when the two wrestling heroes have to fight off an army of midget vampires. Their fight scene is one that you'll never forget.

I also like the head vampire's transformation scene as he changes into a weird looking bat monster. The film is a little slower ion the action than a Santo film is, but if you like bizarre Mexican horror films you might want to give this a look. I could think of plenty of worse things for Halloween viewing.
