RIP JEAN PORTER 1922-2018

The petite star of many great films of the 40's and 50's has died.

Her career began in 1936 in several uncredited roles until her first credited role in 1942's short film called "Glove Birds". She had a small uncredited role in the sci-fi film of 1940 called "One Million B.C."

Her other films included "Bathing Beauties", "Andy hardy's Blonde Trouble", "Abbott and Costello In Hollywood" and the film noir classic "Cry Danger".

She married black listed director Edward Dmytryk in 1948 and they were married until he passed away in 1999. Porter died on Jan. 13th at the age of 95 of natural causes.
