DAY OF THE WARRIOR 1996 (MILL CREEK)

Andy Sidaris returns to the directors chair.

In this little gem the action quotient picks up quite a bit. Somehow the computers of the L.E.T.H.A.L. Agency have been compromised.

The genius behind the computer hacking is calling himself "The Warrior". He now has highly classified information about the Agency and some of it's agents as well. Discovering this, the agency is quick to take action.

Willow Black (Julie Strain) and her team including Fu (Gerald Okamura) and Cobra (Julie K. Smith) seek to stop the Warrior and an insider spy who is feeding information to him.

The Warrior is played by former WCW wrestler Marcus Bagwell, and he does an ok job with the role. I was indeed surprised to see him in this actually when I first saw it. There are the usual Sidaris trademarks in this film including over the top women, hunky men, campy dialogue and multiple explosions as well as bizarre humor.

You really have to suspend belief here as you watch simply because FU is an Elvis impersonator and Julie Strain wears extremely skimpy outfits to work!! I won't tell more, you just have to see it.

The rest of the cast includes Shae Marks, Kevin Light, Rodrigo Obregon and Tammy Parks. The 11th film of the Sidaris 12 and one well worth checking out, especially to see Julie Strain wrestle Marcus Bagwell.
