31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN DAY 5: RAT PFINK A BOO BOO 1966 (GUILTY PLEASURES)

A favorite of mine from the late, great Ray Dennis Steckler.

What starts off as a serious film concerning three men who plot to kidnap a beautiful actress named Cee Bee Beaumont (Carolyn Brandt) sudden;y changes into a comedy slapstick film about half way thru.

Ron Haydock is Lonnie Lord, the boyfriend of Beaumont and Titus Moede is Titus Twimbly, a mild mannered gardener who works for Cee Bee.

After her kidnapping they lament the fact that they are helpless, but suddenly decide to become masked super heroes and save Cee Bee. This is the point when the film becomes a comedy, and believe it or not it works!!

Lonnie is Rat Phink and Titus becomes Boo Boo, and before you know it, they are off chasing the kidnappers. This film really has it all. Great scenery, improvised script, well done sync-sound, and great 60's music from Haydock.

This is nothing but fun and as Steckler says at the beginning of the disc, the film started out with 20 bucks and they just wanted to get their friends together and make a movie. You can tell everyone is having fun and I have to admit, this is how you make movies.

Steckler knew how to make great little films and he never lost that ability. If you want to see something very unique, check out this little diddy.
