RIP JAN MICHAEL VINCENT 1944-2019

The actor best known for "Airwolf" has died.

Vincent passed away on Feb. 10th from cardiac arrest.

He started his acting career in 1967 in a few small roles in TV and then moved on to recurring roles in shows such as ""The Survivors" and "The Winds of War".

In 1984 he hit it big as Stringfellow Hawk in the TV series "Airwolf". He starred in 55 episodes and rocketed to stardom as the young, virile pilot.

His personal demons which included a huge drinking problem led to a career decline and he could only get work in small, low budget films such as "Alienator", "Xtro 2" and "Haunting Fear". I liked a few of the films he appeared in that were low budget, but too many personal issues destroyed a potentially great career.

However, "Airwolf" will be what he is remembered for in his 35 year career. He was 74.
