THE LIVING GHOST 1942 (AMAZON PRIME)

I have always enjoyed this film.

William Beaudine directed this nifty little murder mystery.

James Dunn stars as Nick Trayne, a former detective hired by a wealthy family to investigate the disappearance of a family member. The missing man, Walter Craig (Gus Glassmire) turns up back at the mansion, but in a zombie-like state.

Nick and a family friend named Billie Hilton (beautiful Joan Woodbury) investigate the strange goings on and eventually fall in love. However, the movie moves along at a brisk pace and is very lighthearted.

A couple of more murders occur and finally Nick solves the case. This fun little Monogram feature also has some interesting double entendre dialogue that you might or might not understand.

Not much on plot, but a fun way to kill a little over an hour. Recommended, and yes this is available on a few different DVD labels including MGM I believe.
