31 DAYS OF HALLOWEEN DAY 4: TEST FLIGHT 1951 (MILL CREEK)

This is an episode of "Tales Of Tomorrow". I used to own a few DVD's of this series, but they have long been gone, and it was nice to see this episode again.

Lee J. Cobb stars as a over ambitious multi millionaire who wants to be the first man to orbit the earth and return.

He believes in this so much that he risks everything to make it a reality. He hires on a technician named Wilkins (Harry Townes) who helps him complete the project and actually accompany him on the flight.

It turns out that Wilkins has his own reasons for wanting to make this flight, and that is revealed in the interesting conclusion. This was back in the days of live TV and back in the early 50's everything seemed to have a different look to it, which takes me back to my childhood.

If you have never seen an episode of this show, I highly recommend you do....most are very interesting and still to this day hold your attention well.
