RIP STUART WHITMAN 1928-2020

One of the busiest actors of my generation has died.

In a career that spanned 50 years, Whitman made many, many appearances in movies and TV shows. He started his career in a small, uncredited role in the 1951 sci-fi film "When Worlds Collide".

After that he was in such shows on TV as "Boston Blackie", "The Roy Rogers Show", "The Range Rider" and "Stories Of The Century" just to name a few.

Some of his best known credits belong to some classic films he was in including "7 Men From Now", "Girl In Black Stockings", "Convicts 4", "City Beneath The Sea", "Night Of The Lepus" and so much more.

His best remembered TV works in my opinion include appearances on "The Adventures Of Dr. Fu Manchu", and "Night Gallery" in an episode entitled "Lindemann's Catch" which I will NEVER forget.

Whitman quite acting in 2000 and retired from the public eye. A great body of work and a very talented man. He passed away on March 16th, 2020 at the age of 92.
