I LOVE CLEO MOORE

I watched a movie called "Over Exposed" a couple of nights ago and I hadn't seen it for almost 7 years.

Cleo Moore stars in this film as a young women who learns photography and soon ends up working in a high class nightclub in which a gangster is hiding out.

Seeing this again after so long a time was good because I have always been a fan of Cleo. It's a shame she never attained well nown stardom, but damn, she was a good actress and a great piece of eye candy.

Cleo was born in Baton Rouge, Lousiana in 1929 ( some sources say 1924). In 1948 she made an uncredited appearance in "Embraceable You" and had a good role in a film called "Congo Jim", but her career went nowhere.

After a few more small roles she atsrted being seen in films like "Hunt The Man Down" and the film noir classic "On Dangerous Ground". She started really getting noticed in films she made with Hugo Haas.

Those films included "Bait", "Hold Back Tomorrow" and "Hit And Run" which was her final screen appearance. She retired from acting in 1957 and married a real estate tycoon.

In 1973, just six days before her 44th birthday Cleo died of a heart attack. I think of her as one of the MOST attractive women to ever grace the movie screen and while I wish she had made more films all I can say is I love her entire body of film work and always enjoy seeing her in a film.

I think the world needs a Cleo Moore blu-ray set. If you haven't seen any of her films, you should.
