This is a look at the lives of people who live on the edge of regular society.
Neil Flanagan stars as Cherry Lane, a cross dressing man who is desparately seeking love in NYC. That is the entire plot actually, and the movie has a really downbeat ending, which is typical of Andy Milligan movies.
What makes this Andy Milligan film so watchable is the early 70's backdrop of Times Square. New York was a completely different world than it is today.
If nothing else, this film is a time capsule of days gone by. The performances in the film are ok and the film moves along at a good pace, but it is not everyones cup of tea.
The quality of the print is very good and again I must say Severin has doen a great job bringing this odd little film to light and in such a glorious package.
I would recommend this for Milligan completists only.
