NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN 1983 (MGM)

The final time Sean Connery played James Bond.

I found this to be a very lackluster Bond film. This film concerns a SPECTRE agent who has stolen two nuclear warheads, and Bond is called back into duty to prevent the destruction of Washingto DC and the worlds oil supply.

Max Von Sydow is Blofeld who is heading the evil plan being run by a madman named Largo (Klaus Maria Brandaur). Working for Largo is a beautiful female killer named Fatima (Barbara Carrera) who really likes her work of killing people.

Bond gets mixed up with another lovely woman, Domino Patachi (Kim Basinger) who happens to be Largo's lover but is unaware that Largo has had her brother killed after he helped steal the warheads.

It's a race against time as Bond must stop Largo, who turns out to be a brilliant mastermind and seems to always be one step ahead. This has been called a remake of "Thunderball" but trust me, the original was better..much better.

I haven't watched any Bond film made after 1983 and this is why. The film is too long and one can see that PC is slowly slipping into the series which in my opinion has killed it.

I watched it for the first time because I had the chance, but it is not my cup of tea. The rest of the cast includes Bernie Casey, Valerie Leon, Alec McCowan and Pamela Salem.
