CIRCUS OF HORRORS 1966 (CHEEZY FLICKS)

One of the hundreds of movies I watched during the month of October.

Anton Diffring stars as a mad doctor named Rossiter who flees the police and ends up running a circus.

Rossiter is on the run from a botched plastic surgery operation and he acquires, thru a murder, a circus which he discovers is the perfect place to hide. He still practices surgery and he changes the faces of criminals who come to work for him.

Diffring is perfect for the role as a mad doctor who is obsessed with scars and disfigurment. Numerous people die during performances when Rossiter finds they are no longer of use to him.

The film moves along at a very brisk pace and the cast works well with the material. The rest of the cast includes Erika Remberg, Yvonne Monlaur, Donald Pleasence, Jane Hylton, Kenneth Griffith, John Merivale and Yvonne Romain.

It's a twisted little film that is by no means original, but it is well made and will hold your attention. The women are all beautiful and that makes it even better.

If you get a chance you might want to check it out.
